There are approximately 1,050 public hospitals and 327 private hospitals in Thailand. Clinics are over 12 times more than hospitals where becomes alternative choice of healthcare for many patients. The demographic of patients for clinic visit are children and the patients who not prefer to waste their time in hospital. From the behaviour study, we found the patients tolerate illness until the symptoms appears more suffer. They would then decide to visit hospital for treatment or clinics, even they hold their health insurance benefit with less to zero payment. In the situation of illness relating to their children, they would bring their children to clinics as soon as possible once the children got sick due to more concern of  direct risk towards their children.

Despite the convinient access of clinics, they still lack of medical equipment, tools. Moreover, clinics only choose to focus on certain and/or specialized area of disease. For operation time, the observation indicates that clinics opens mostly the morning half (9.00-12.00) and evening of working days (Mon.-Fri.). and it opens full day on Saturday and Sunday.
